Greetings reader, my name is Zachary Enright. Since I arrived at my universities rock-climbing wall my freshmen year of college, the thought of escaping to the mountains has rarely faded from my mind.

Halfway up my first route at Whiteside Mountain, NC.

For the first two years of my climbing I was deep into the world of sport climbing. In march, however, I went on a spring break trip to the Red River Gorge, a world-renowned sport crag located in Kentucky. What I found in these mountains was not stellar sport climbs, but something far more beautiful. Dirty, seldom climbed, and unimpressive trad lines.

My first trad lead, Lula Mae 5.6 at RRG. 30ft of pure terror.

From that moment on, I have spent every spare moment I have obsessing over the wonderful sport of trad climbing.

This blog is a way for me to document and share the adventures of my friends and myself throughout the southeast, and wherever else I am lucky enough to venture off too.

I hope you enjoy!
